Who I am
My name is Marcio Faria, and I’ve been designing and building websites since 2014.
Most web projects involve a designer who hands off to a developer, and something always gets lost in between. I do both. That means the site you approve is the site you get, and the decisions about how something looks and how it works get made together instead of in sequence.
I specialize in custom WordPress: themes and plugins built from scratch rather than assembled from whatever is available, so your site does what your business actually needs. I also handle the parts that come after launch, which is where most sites quietly fall apart: hosting, domains, security, updates, and support when something breaks.
For the last three years I worked as a senior developer on an enterprise marketing website for a B2B software company, which meant Drupal, custom modules, analytics and tracking, marketing automation, and privacy compliance at a scale most small businesses never touch. That experience comes with me to every project, whether the site is five pages or five hundred.
I’m Brazilian, based on the US west coast, and I work in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. I answer my own email, and you’ll always be talking to the person doing the work.

I build custom WordPress sites: custom themes, plugins written from scratch, and content structures designed so you can update your own site without calling me every time. I work in Divi and Elementor when a project calls for it, and I hand-code when it doesn’t.
Design is part of the same job. Brand, layout, and UI come from your business and how your customers actually use a site, not from a template that gets adjusted until it fits.
For ecommerce I work in WooCommerce and Shopify. For projects that need a modern application stack rather than a CMS, I build in Next.js.
Beyond the build: hosting and DNS setup, migrations between hosts or platforms, database work, email templates that render correctly everywhere, analytics and conversion tracking through Google Analytics and Tag Manager, cookie consent and privacy compliance, and accessibility and performance as part of the build rather than an afterthought.
